How do I buy?
You have 3 options:
  • Directly from the developers, who will ♥ you, on this website (The red Buy buttons).
  • Through Adobe Add-ons the official Adobe web based app store for Photoshop, After Efefcts and Premiere from CC to CC2017 (The blue Buy buttons). CS6 relies on the Adobe Exchange panel.
  • Through AE Scripts a repository and marketplace of high-end tools for many leading 2D and 3D software packages which markets our After Effects, Premiere and Photoshop products.
How can I pay?
The e-commerce provider for both this website and Adobe Exchange is Fastspring; it manages Visa®, Mastercard®, American Express®, Discover®, JCB®, PayPal, bank transfer, check, money order, and purchase order. Payments are accepted in ten major currencies in addition to the US Dollar.
Can I install your products in all of my computers?
This is a tough one. We don't enforce it, yet we are OK with up to 3 computers.
What's your upgrade policy?
Fixel Algorithms products version numbering is as following: <MajorVersion>.<MinorVersion>.<BuildNumber>. Product owners are entitled to free minor version and build number upgrades.
Adobe Exchange is CC / CS6 only, I need CS5
Some of our products support CS5 too (Sometimes with limited UI). Contact Us for details.
Should I join your mailing list?
Hell yea! This is the easiest way to hear about what's going on Fixel Algorithms. Our mailing list is ultra low traffic mailing list with real goodies built in.
Do you provide any support?
You’re going to get a lifetime e-mail support! More than 99% of support requests ends successfully. Documentation (Which solves most issues) is found within each product's page.

Technical

I bought a Fixel Algorithms product and I can't get it to work!

How do I install your Plug In's?
Our Plug In's are composed from a Plug In file (Does the heavy Math lifting) and UI (The Charm Personality). Just drop each of them to the correct place. See Installation Guide for more information.
Does your Plug In's run 64bit?
We actually support only 64 Bit Systems with 64 Bit Host (Photoshop / After Effects / Premiere) so it better be.
Which applications (Host Programs) are supported by your Plug In's?
Currently we only support Adobe Photoshop, Adobe After Effects and Adobe Premiere. We intend to support more applications in the future.
Do your Plug In's support Adobe Photoshop CC 2017?
Yes they do. Actually they support any version from CS6 and above. Mind the different installation folder for each Photoshop version.
I upgraded to Adobe Photoshop CC 2015.5 and I'm having issues with Fixel's Products, What should I do?
Usually it is about installing the Plug In correctly for CC 2015.5. Adobe created a new shared folder for Photoshop CC 2015.5. All CC (CC, CC 2014, CC 2015, etc..) Users should (CC 2015.5 and above must) move the Plug In file into the new folder. I'm having some issues with Photoshop CS6 64 Bit on Windows (Plug In doesn't show in the Filter Menu / libiomp5md.dll file is missing), What's going on?
Adobe, in later versions of Photoshop, ships Photoshop with Intel OpenMP library we utilize for Multi Threaded code.
Hence users of CS6 which uses our products which utilizes Intel OpenMP Library (libiomp5md.dll) should install Intel® C++ 2015 Update 6 Compilers Redistributable Libraries.

Photoshop CC on Windows states that libiomp5md.dll file is missing, what should I do?
Fixel utilizes libiomp5md.dll (Intel OpenMP Library) which ships within Photoshop. The libiomp5md.dll is utilized for Multi Threaded code.
If you encounter any issues related to Intel OpenMP Library (libiomp5md.dll) you should install Intel® C++ and Fortran Compilers Redistributable Libraries.
